Section 184 Funds: Based on the receipt of program funds, Section 184 staff will immediately begin to issue case numbers and firm commitment amounts (with a cohort number). Case numbers and cohorts will be processed based on the date of receipt.
Refinancing on Fee Simple Land: Unfortunately, the Section 184 has not resumed refinancing on fee simple land. However, the Section 184 program will continue to refinance loans on tribal or allotted trust land, and for transactions occurring at the completion of a construction loan on fee, tribal, and individual trust land.
